The Lapwing range of Rail Specification Clothing all conforms to the RIS-3279-TOM specification which replaces the former GO-RT 3279 specification. This is the current required standard for all garments worn in the UK rail industry in safety critical areas. Whilst all Rail Spec garments must also meet the requirements of EN ISO 20471 (minimum class 2), the colour gamut is more precise, often resulting in a brighter orange for rail garments than that for general applications.
