The Lapwing ‘Big Blue’ Concreting Tool collection is a range of high quality, professional concrete flatwork tools including hand and glider floats, hand tamps, screed and dapple bars, placers, and concrete rakes, along with the Big Blue Easy float range.
High strength and flexibility
The original Big Blue Easy Float is a concrete flatwork blade manufactured from tool grade, high carbon steel which gives the blade its characteristic blued appearance. Providing high strength with flexibility, the rounded ends of the Big Blue Float combine to give an exceptional finish to concrete surfaces, removing the need for power floating. They are known in the trade as ‘big blue glider floats’, ‘big blue easy floats’ or simply just ‘Big Blues’.
