Setting Out & Barrier Fencing

Setting out tools are used by workers and civil engineers when laying out the boundaries of impending or ongoing works. They can be used to distinguish site areas as well as provide safety for workforces and the public alike.

At Lapwing, we stock a range of setting out pins, safety barrier netting and safety caps for pins, all designed to provide you with everything you need to create easily visible and practical distinctions between different areas of a worksite such as excavations or pedestrian walkways.

SETTING OUT TOOLS

PINS

Our range of curly top and road pins are used to help construct temporary barriers between different site areas, for both safety as well as planning purposes. As well as the traditional steel setting out pin options, including non-penetrating pins, we stock insulated road and curly top pins for added workforce protection when operating near sub-terranean cables.

SAFETY BARRIER NETTING

Sold in 50m rolls, our safety barrier netting is highly flexible and made from extremely durable plastic to withstand all weather conditions. Combined with other setting out equipment such as pins, safety barrier netting is perfect for forming temporary and easily identifiable divides between distinct site areas. This ensures safety for both your workforce and the public while providing clear divides for site segmentation.

SAFETY CAPS

Our rebar safety caps are perfectly sized to be attached to the top of setting out pins and come in cost-efficient packs of 50. By providing a rounded tip, they protect workers and the public from the potentially jagged edges of steel setting out pins. For additional safety, our safety caps are also formed in a conspicuous orange colour, making the potential hazard easy to spot.
